our roots

We’re Adam & Ruby Tildsley, the owners of Tree Top Press. We live with our four children in Suffield, just beyond Scarborough in the North York Moors National Park.

Tree Top Press began in 2011 and has grown from an honesty box at the front door, to a thriving local business which includes a 2.5 acre no-dig market garden with ponds & orchard and a wholefoods shop with cider press and microbakery.

We deliver our veg boxes locally each week and sell a range of sustainably-sourced groceries from other local suppliers and Yorkshire co-operative, Suma.

Our land is managed regeneratively with the emphasis on habitat creation. Current projects include a 4 acre woodland creation & restoration of 4.5 acres permanent species-rich grassland.

We welcome visitors on our scheduled tours & talks.
