our roots

We’re Adam & Ruby Tildsley, we live with our 4 children in Suffield, just beyond Scarborough in the North York Moors National Park.

Adam established the business in 2011 and from those beginnings it has grown to include a no-dig market garden (est 2017), farm shop, microbakery and cider press. We deliver locally on our weekly veg box round and our shop is open on Wednesday & Saturday mornings.

We live and breathe what we do, with the values of fairness, equality and integrity at the heart of our business! The products we make and sell are sustainable and ethical. We support our local food bank and we are very proud to use Yorkshire co-operative ‘Suma’ to source all the grocery products for our farm shop.

Our land is managed regeneratively with the emphasis on habitat creation and having a positive environmental impact. We’ve recently created 4 ponds and a wetland and are developing a new adjacent 4 acre site in to a woodland using natural colonisation.
